Stock Market or Lottery?: A Worthwhile Forex Training Account

Its bee a while since I last posted. Id like to say its been a busy year but Iv probably just been a bit lazy as well. I did a lot of hunting and finally found a forex demo account that fit my needs. These needs were.

Free
No time limit
No minimum trade size
As narrow a margin as possible

It proved to be harder than I thought as many online brokers limit their demo period to a month or so. Others give you a demo account of hundreds of thousands of dollars., which is nice but does not reflect how I would be working in the real world where i will be lucky to scrape together one thousand and would prefer to start out with even less.

I have settled on ONANDA as they fit the most on my criteria. Their trading platform does not have the polished look and feel of many of the other brokers but is quick and gives all of the functionality required to get started. The demo account balance can be as low as $1000.00 which is perfect for my needs and best of all the demo account has no time limit. I have been using it for the better part of a year now and have only had one notable outage. Also I have had no calls from salespeople wanting my to set up a live account.
